Black, in a statement provided to CNBC on Monday, said, "I have never met Ms. Pierson. Black left Apollo in March 2021, months earlier than he previously had said he would. The Wigdor law firm is continuing to pursue a separate lawsuit against Black that its attorneys filed in July, alleging that he raped a then-16-year-old girl with autism at Epstein's Manhattan home in 2002.

A federal lawsuit filed Tuesday accused Leon Black, the billionaire co-founder of Apollo Global Management, of raping a then-16-year-old girl with autism in 2002 at the Manhattan townhouse of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. "Wigdor's prior case against Mr. Black was recently thrown out by the Court and this one will be too. "This sham proceeding will be promptly dismissed and will provide further ammunition for Mr. Black's pending sanctions motion against the Wigdor firm," the lawyer said. The bid for sanctions also references Guzel Ganieva, who was represented by Wigdor in a 2021 lawsuit accusing Black of sexual assault and defamation was dismissed in May.

Lawyers representing Jeffrey Epstein's estate want out of a sex assault lawsuit against Leon Black. Cheri Pierson claims Epstein set up a massage for Black, where Black raped her in 2002. Epstein's lawyers say there isn't enough evidence that Epstein was negligent. "Plaintiff does not even clearly allege that Epstein was at the townhouse when the alleged rape occurred," lawyers for Epstein's estate wrote. Pierson claims that Epstein knew Black had "sexual deviant needs," but the Epstein lawyers said that's too "vague" an assertion, and "does not establish that Epstein knew or should have known that Black was a rapist who would rape" her.

Pierson's lawsuit in a New York state court in Manhattan seeks unspecified damages from Black for sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and from Epstein's estate for negligence. Her law firm Wigdor LLP also represents Guzel Ganieva, a former Russian model who in June 2021 sued Black for defamation, saying he falsely claimed she tried to extort him after accusing him of rape. In a Nov. 19 letter to the Wigdor firm, Estrich said: "Mr. Black never sexually assaulted anyone anywhere at any time." His former associate Ghislaine Maxwell is appealing her conviction and 20-year prison sentence for enabling Epstein's abuse of underage girls.

Zorro Ranch, previously owned by Jeffrey Epstein, has dropped from $27.5 million to $18 million after over a year on the market. It was once the most expensive home in New Mexico before the price cut, Realtor reported. His 7,500-acre New Mexico mansion was listed for $27.5 million in June 2021, but the price has since dropped to $18 million, according to a Realtor report. Realtor.com listing for Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. Dolly Lenz, founder and CEO of Dolly Lenz Real Estate, explained to Realtor why Zorro Ranch has been more difficult to sell than Epstein's other luxurious properties.
