Airbnb is attempting to kick off gladiator fights in Rome's historic Colosseum after 2,000 years, but local lawmakers in the Italian city are not impressed. Rome CNN —The ancient Colosseum in Rome has witnessed some historic battles, with toga-clad crowds once packing the gigantic venue to watch gladiators slug it out against opponents including lions and baboons. On one side of the arena is holiday rental giant Airbnb and the Colosseum Archaeological Park, which oversees the ruined structure, which is one of Rome’s most visited attractions. You will become a gladiator,” promises the AirBnB advertisement. “A publicity stunt by Airbnb which, after having effectively taken possession of the historic center, completely distorting it and turning it into a large tourist park, now wants to ridicule the Colosseum,” he said Friday. Federico Mollicone, a member of her party who heads the Lower House of Parliament’s Culture Commission said he applauds the innovative idea.

Four other players have scored four goals in the same half of a Premier League match, but the 22-year-old Palmer is the first to achieve the feat in the opening 45 minutes. Later in the second half, Palmer almost got a fifth when he was one-on-one with Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, though he put his shot wide. But any likelihood of the visiting side, unbeaten in the Premier League prior to the game, building on the early lead were quickly shut out by Palmer’s brilliance. With that, Palmer edged closer to another record for the most penalties scored in the Premier League without missing. Chelsea could have extended its lead in the second half.

Expectations were high for France going into the men’s gold medal match, but the reality of the first half was brutal for Thierry Henry’s side. A lot was riding on French legend Henry, who is used to winning as a player but not as a coach. But France finally came unstuck in extra time as Sergio Camello scored two brilliant chips to make it 5-3 and seal the gold medal for Spain. Potential tattle-tales can share tips on possible faux Ferrari goods on a web page Ferrari created just for the purpose. How to fake a carWhile creating fake merchandise can be a simple matter of placing an unlicensed Ferrari prancing horse logo on a product, producing a believable fake Ferrari car can be much more involved. “Generally, the Ferrari collector tends to have a considerable knowledge over the brand as a whole and its cars, especially the most valuable ones,” said the spokesperson. As an example of the fate that awaits any fake Ferrari automobiles the company can find, Ferrari published a photo of a red car squished into a crinkled metal cube.

Every time Messi floated wide to try to get on the ball in space, Ecuador closed down with multiple defenders.
