TEL AVIV, Israel — Israel's emergency services are treating dozens of casualties after a truck rammed into a bus as it was dropping of passengers at a bus stop near Glilot military base north of Tel Aviv on Sunday morning. A spokesperson for Israel’s police force said a preliminary investigation indicated that the truck collided with passengers as well as the bus. United Hatzalah, a volunteer emergency services, said "a large number of pedestrians" were involved, and that people remained trapped under the truck 30 minutes after the incident. CNN —One person has died and at least five people were injured as a vehicle crashed into an Austin medical center emergency room Tuesday evening, according to the facility’s chief medical officer. Christa Stedman of the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said the child in critical condition had life-threatening injuries while the adult’s injuries were potentially life threatening. One patient was admitted to St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, where the crash occurred in the ER lobby, Chief Medical Officer Peter DeYoung said. Eight patients who were at the hospital and not injured in the vehicle crash were also being transferred to other hospitals, DeYoung said. Moments later, Hughes realized a vehicle had crashed into the emergency room.

Over the weekend, five Palestinians were killed in Jenin during another Israeli incursion, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The man had been shot in the leg and while paramedics attempted to transport him to the Jenin Government Hospital, he was arrested by the Israeli military, Al-Saadi said. The PRCS’s emergency medical services team attending to the injured man were also held for about an hour in front of the hospital by the Israeli military, he said. “The Israeli military stopped the ambulance for around one hour in front of the hospital” before taking the injured man away in an Israeli military ambulance, Al-Saadi said. Israel’s war with Hamas has increasingly spilled over into the West Bank with settler attacks and clashes leaving hundreds of Palestinians dead.
