CNN —Five new lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs have been filed by both male and female accusers who allege they were drugged and sexually assaulted by the embattled music mogul, who now faces more than 30 civil complaints. The majority of the new lawsuits allege that plaintiffs were sexually assaulted at parties hosted by Combs, with one incident allegedly taking place at the producer’s White Party in 2004. CNN —An anonymous male celebrity says he is the victim of an extortion scheme and is suing a high-powered Texas attorney who is representing several people in civil lawsuits that accuse Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault. Buzbee has said he is representing at least 120 alleged victims of Combs. The lawsuit filed by the anonymous celebrity claims that Buzbee’s firm is trying to capitalize off the “explosive allegations against Sean Combs” by roping in public figures who have been acquainted with Combs. The plaintiff’s lawsuit, which was filed in mid-September, prompted his accuser to fire back this week, opposing the celebrity’s efforts to stay anonymous. “Our civil court system is designed to resolve disputes and provide injured parties a means of redress,” Roe’s filing states. Doe said that Roe has attempted to extort him for millions of dollars through “untrue, lewd allegations” and “outrageous conduct.”“Defendant’s allegations are not true,” Doe’s lawsuit states. CNN —Country music star Garth Brooks has been accused of sexual assault and battery in a lawsuit from a “Jane Roe” who says she worked as a hairstylist and makeup artist for the award-winning singer. The complaint, filed in a state court in California on Thursday and obtained by CNN, states the alleged incidents occurred in 2019. According to the suit, Brooks and Roe traveled to Los Angeles on Brooks’ private jet. “Usually there were others on Brooks’ private jet but this time, Ms. Roe and Brooks were the only two passengers,” the complaint states. The complaint states Brooks “repeated remarks” about “having a threesome” with his wife.

CNN —The federal criminal sex trafficking case against Sean “Diddy” Combs has been assigned a new judge. Before joining the law firm, he worked as a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Combs’ case was first randomly assigned to Judge Andrew Carter, who was nominated by President Barack Obama in 2011. Combs is currently incarcerated and is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York while awaiting his criminal trial. He was arrested earlier this month and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

CNN —Sean “Diddy” Combs may soon be facing new allegations from over 100 men and women who’ve obtained legal representation and plan to file civil suits against the embattled media mogul in the coming weeks, according to Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee. “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. Since last November, Combs has been hit with 12 civil suits, 11 of which directly accuse him of sexual assault. A source previously told CNN that the majority of accusers who filed civil lawsuits had met with federal investigators during their months-long investigation. In March, Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami were searched by the Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
