Getty Images/APPresident-elect Donald Trump announced five more picks for roles in the incoming administration Saturday, as his impending presidency takes shape. In his announcement Saturday, Trump praised Edgar, who was previously mayor of Los Alamitos, California, for helping the president-elect “lead the City and County revolt against Sanctuary Cities” during his first presidential term. White previously led an ultimately unsuccessful movement split off Buckhead, a mostly white, wealthy neighborhood in Atlanta, from the greater Atlanta city. He also boosted Trump in Georgia amid his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state.
