They're branding themselves as more of a high-intensity training equipment provider than just a stair-climbing apparatus provider these days. Strength training is ideal for extending your "play span," your ability to keep doing what you love as you age. Arnold was Player of the Match in Australia's quarter-final against France on Saturday, making a string of saves late in the game and stopping three penalties in a shootout victory that captured the hearts of the host nation. "I guess the last couple of days have been a pretty big whirlwind for me," she told reporters on Tuesday. Arnold also took a penalty in the shootout, pinging Australia's fifth attempt against the post when successfully converting it would have sent them into the semi-finals without the need for sudden death. Arnold, who has only recently taken over as first-choice keeper for the Matildas, said she would step up and take another spot-kick on Wednesday if called upon. "I am ready if I have to take one tomorrow, hopefully I don't," the 29-year-old added.

He had killed his parents … and he’s at the drive-in seeing “The Undead” Geoff Britton, US investigator“He had killed his parents. By the time Britton started on the case, Arnold had been on the run for more than three decades. In prison, Arnold followed the rules and could have qualified for early release, Cordes wrote. Westover said the son didn’t know he’d emailed a US Marshal who’d been tasked with tracking down his father. Now that they know his alias, US officials are piecing together Arnold’s life from his last known location in Chicago.
“There have been about 1,300 Russian tank losses … so the actual numbers of new tanks [for Ukraine] in a military sense are not that significant. There’s a lot of Ukraine and 20, 30, 40 tanks does not go that far,” said Ronald Ti, an expert in military logistics at King’s College, London. Nevertheless, the move to create a new “tank coalition,” as some officials called it, has been widely welcomed in Ukraine. Zelenskyy has said Ukraine requires around 300 tanks in order to successfully defend its territory from an expected Russian spring offensive, and to begin winning back territory ceded to Moscow since the invasion began last February. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, seen in Berlin on Wednesday, has faced prolonged criticism for a reluctance to send military equipment to Ukraine.
New York CNN —The Walt Disney Company has named Nike executive chairman Mark Parker as its new board chair, replacing longtime director Susan Arnold, whose term limit is expiring. Parker, a Disney board member since 2016, takes over Disney’s board at a time of transition for America’s largest media company. Disney said among Parker’s qualifications as board chair is that he navigated a successful CEO transition at Nike. And Disney’s media networks are struggling as cord cutting accelerates and once lucrative outlets like ESPN lose viewership. She praised Parker for helping lead Disney through a difficult period for the company and the broader media industry.
