Tuesday is expected to be another scorcher in New York City, with officials expecting it to feel as hot as 100 degrees in some parts of town.
Other parts of the Northeast, including parts of Connecticut, were also placed under excessive heat advisories.
Officials predict temperatures in Central Park will reach 93 degrees on Tuesday before dropping to 89 degrees on Wednesday.
It was 90 degrees there on Monday, but with the humidity it felt as hot as 100 degrees.
“Do not underestimate the heat,” New York City’s mayor, Eric Adams, said during a news conference on Monday.
