The Justice Department on Wednesday asked the judge in its antitrust case against Google to force the company to sell its Chrome browser. "Advertisers would find competitors for their business, rather than needing to pay a dominant search engine." When you open Chrome and type something into the search bar at the top, these words are automatically transformed into a Google Search. And when there's an option for users, Google pays partners billions of dollars to set its search engine as the default. For instance, if most people click on the third result, Google's Search engine will likely adjust and rank that result higher in the future.

The long-standing promise of a ban on menthol cigarettes, which has been years in the making, is unlikely to move forward before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January. Teal died on Friday “after a courageous battle with cancer,” Walters’ statement, provided to CNN on Monday, said. Many readers said that while they didn’t absolutely need to start collecting Social Security early, they calculated that they would come out ahead by investing some or all of their checks in the stock market rather than waiting. I agree with Peggy Bishop that some people simply have to collect Social Security at the first opportunity. They don’t have enough savings to tide them over to age 70 without Social Security. Saying you should delay claiming Social Security when possible is not the same as saying you should keep working past the breaking point of body and soul.
