Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds and another man were injured in a shooting last week after two vehicles followed them from a Glendale, Colorado, gentlemen's club, documents state. Two men, Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza, were arrested in the Oct. 18 shooting, according to NBC affiliate KUSA of Denver, citing police. One caller said he was driving and had been shot, according to court documents obtained by KUSA. Reynolds was allegedly shot twice, once in his arm and once in the back of his head, KUSA reported. At one point, four vehicles were allegedly following the car Reynolds was in, according to the news station.

Israelis were exhilarated when two hostages held by Hamas in Gaza since Oct. 7 were rescued this month in a daring raid by the Israeli military. It wasn’t just the thrill of seeing the hostages alive in their families’ arms. The rescue reminded many of Israel’s stunning hostage rescue in Entebbe, Uganda, in 1976, when more than 100 hostages from an airplane hijacked by militant Palestinians and Germans were freed. But the myth of invincibility Entebbe engendered was always flawed: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s own brother was killed in the raid. Today, there is no such military option for liberating hostages on a large scale, and the negotiation effort to release Israeli hostages from Hamas’s grip is not at all exhilarating.

More recently, studies have found it can reduce STI risk in certain groups. A study published in The New England Journal of Medicine earlier this year found that doxy-PEP reduced the risk for STIs like chlamydia. The medication is already approved for use in anyone 12 or older, and an updated CDC recommendation isn't necessary for doctors to prescribe it.
