Regardless of who wins Tuesday’s election, a key fixture of America’s political landscape for nearly a decade is set to disappear: the Trump rally. “It’s coming to an end,” Trump said in a phone interview with NBC News on Sunday. For his millions of supporters, Trump rallies have been a gathering place with thousands of other like-minded Americans. Torabi is best known for his popular Twitter account, where his clips of Trump rallies frequently go viral. “So tomorrow I’m doing three rallies and on Monday I’m going to do four rallies in one day,” Trump said.

Kennedy, who ran for president as an independent this year before dropping his bid and endorsing Trump, has long spread conspiracies and falsehoods about vaccines and other public health matters. Asked Sunday whether banning certain vaccines would be an option during a second term, the former president didn’t rule it out. “Well I’m going to talk to [Kennedy] and talk to other people, and I’ll make a decision, but he’s a very talented guy and has strong views,” Trump said. Robert F. KRISTEN WELKER:As the 2024 election nears the finish line, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump make their last appeal to voters. Vice President Harris and former President Trump and their surrogates are making their closing arguments. North Carolina was the state former president Trump won in 2020 by the smallest margin and both candidates held events there on Saturday. In states where tensions have long boiled over reproductive rights, family planning experts say women face mounting barriers to getting birth control. In June, Senate Republicans blocked a bill that would have enshrined a national right to birth control into law. States have been left to decide if they will protect access to birth control. The Right Time initiative is part of Michelle Trupiano's work at Missouri Family Health Council that reduces costs and helps Missourians to obtain birth control. She works at a family planning clinic that is benefiting from Title X funding, which means right now, uninsured patients can get birth control through the clinic.

On the campaign trail, both Trump and Kennedy have pitched a “Make America Healthy Again” movement. However, he wasn’t sure how Warp Speed would apply to childhood chronic diseases — or in what way Kennedy would be helpful. If the plan goes forward, Kennedy’s mandate would be an “all-of-government-project” and allow him to marshall resources from all of these agencies for childhood chronic disease. What’s still to be determined, Altman said, is how much — if any — authority the Warp Speed role would give Kennedy to command agencies such as the FDA or CDC. Trump transition co-chair Howard Lutnick also praised Kennedy in an interview with CNN Wednesday night, and questioned whether vaccines are actually safe.

Melania Trump will accompany former President Donald Trump to the Al Smith dinner in New York City on Thursday, two sources familiar with her plans told NBC News. In late September, a Kamala Harris campaign aide confirmed that the vice president would not be attending the dinner, saying that she would instead be campaigning in key battleground states. Among those Democrats was Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., who made appeals to Harris’ campaign about modifying her schedule. “He lets me be who I am, and he lets me believe what I believe. The mood at the Al Smith dinner is traditionally jovial and gives candidates a chance to joke about their time on the campaign trail.

“Who the hell wants to hear questions?” Trump said at the event where the entire point was to take audience questions. It’s bizarre and raises more and more concerns for voters," said a Harris campaign adviser who also previously worked for President Joe Biden. “President Trump has more energy and more stamina than anyone in politics, and is the smartest leader this country has ever seen,” the statement read. Once it was clear that Trump wanted to listen to music, campaign staff behind the scenes started to scramble to accommodate the request. The town hall led to Trump being late for a tele-rally with Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick.

Democratic nominee Kamala Harris said on her campaign's X account that Trump rambled and "looked confused" on stage during the event. Almost 30 minutes into the town hall event, Trump paused the event so someone in the audience could receive treatment. Two minutes later, as Trump faced the fifth question of the night, another person became ill and the song played again. Kristi Noem of South Dakota asked Trump on stage, "Do you want to play your song and then greet a few people?" A national NBC News poll on Sunday put Trump and Harris neck and neck among registered voters, with three weeks to go until election day.

In today’s edition, politics reporter Allan Smith looks at how Elon Musk could help (or hurt) Donald Trump on the campaign trail. Plus, national political correspondent Steve Kornacki breaks down the different paths to victory Kamala Harris and Trump are attempting to chart in Pennsylvania. The disparate images helped paint a picture of both the benefits and the detriments to having Musk in Trump’s corner. Musk’s appearance at Trump’s Pennsylvania rally over the weekend was the culmination of a yearslong rightward drift for the eccentric billionaire, expedited by his purchase of Twitter in 2022. After his appearance in western Pennsylvania, Musk started to offer people $47 if they successfully get a swing-state voter to sign onto a petition backing the First and Second Amendments.

Ron DeSantis’ exclusive interview with NBC News’ Dasha Burns covered a wide range of topics, including two issues dogging DeSantis on the campaign trail: abortion and his state’s new Black history standards. And although he’s pledged to be a “pro-life president,” he’s broken with some others in the GOP field and has not embraced a federal ban on abortions. “I think the reality is that that basically means the states are going to have primary control over it,” DeSantis said. Asked if he would veto a national abortion ban, DeSantis said, “We will be a pro-life president, and we will support pro-life policies. DeSantis defended the standards, saying “it’s very clear that they’re showing that this was a grave injustice, and it contradicted the founding principles of our country.”“Those standards were not political at all.

Pence has been outspoken about his support for Ukraine, and the move sends a resounding message that he believes the U.S. should play a leading role in the country's fight against Russia. Former Vice President Mike Pence made a surprise visit to Ukraine on Thursday, becoming the first Republican presidential candidate to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the campaign. One of Zelenskyy's top advisers, Mykhailo Podolyak, said Pence "understands absolutely clearly what Russia is." The future of U.S. support for the Ukrainian war effort is in question, and the voters Pence is trying to woo in the Republican primary aren't eager to aid the country. And the GOP front-runner in the polls, former President Donald Trump, initially praised Putin when he invaded Ukraine, saying he was "very savvy."
