The new Passwords app for iPhone, iPad, Vision Pro, Mac and Windows, lets users store all of their passwords, including verification codes, app passwords, Wi-Fi passwords, Passkeys and more. Its new Passwords app, introduced at Apple's WWDC 2024 earlier this week, is one more solution to help protect online accounts and manage multiple logins. Password managers, like the Apple Password app, log different passwords, passcodes and logins securely under a safe account. You can't underestimate the amount of effort they will put into making sure that is locked down, and those are all tied into Apple IDs, Apple passwords. Apple Intelligence, its entry into AI, will leverage cloud-based models on special servers using Apple Silicon to ensure that user data is private and secure.

☆ Meta 'misled' the public through a campaign that downplayed the amount harmful content on Instagram and Facebook, court documents show

A newly unsealed complaint accused Meta of misleading the public about harmful content on its platforms. It argued that Meta publicly touted low rates of harmful content while internal data revealed higher rates. Meta used these reports to convince the public its platforms were safer than they actually were, per the complaint. Meta defines hate speech per the CSER as "violent or dehumanizing speech, statements of inferiority, calls for exclusion or segregation based on protected characteristics or slurs." It only noted that they're both "rigorous surveys" used to poll users about their interactions with harmful content like suicide and self-harm, negative comparison, misinformation, bullying, unwanted sexual advances, hate speech, or discrimination.

HELSINKI, Nov 18 (Reuters) - Dozens of migrants stood behind barriers at two crossings on Finland's border with Russia on Saturday, the Finnish Border Guard said, after Helsinki erected barricades to halt a flow of asylum seekers it says was instigated by Moscow. Despite the closure, dozens of migrants arrived on Saturday afternoon at the Nuijamaa and Vaalimaa crossings, and lit a campfire in sub-zero temperatures behind razor-wire barriers mounted by border guards, Finnish Border Guard told reporters. Four regular border crossings remain open for the time being, but asylum can now only be sought at two of those, in Salla and Vartius, further north, the Border Guard said. On Saturday, 67 people arrived to seek asylum at the Vartius post, the local border guard unit said on X, formerly known as Twitter. The Kremlin on Friday said Finland was making a "big mistake" by closing down border crossings and that Helsinki's move was destroying bilateral relations.

Ca și anul trecut, este interzis accesul în cimitirele din localitățile raionului Cahul în perioada sărbătorilor de Paști, cu excepția procesiunilor funerare curente. O hotărâre în acest sens a fost aprobată de către Comisia Situații Excepționale a raionului Cahul la data de 19 aprilie. Totodată, a fost reluat procesul de învățământ în instituțiile de învățământ din raionul Cahul cu prezența fizică a elevilor. Hotărârea CSER Cahul vine urmare a Hotărârilor Comisiei Naționale Situații Excepționale din 8 și 15 aprilie, executarea acesteia este obligatorie pentru conducătorii autorităților publice locale de nivel I și II.
