Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Masino on Thursday told CNBC's Jim Cramer how her company is moving forward with its turnaround plan, adding that she doesn't expect to see results in the immediate future. Masino said Cracker Barrel's improvement plan centers around location remodels, reworked menus and improved technology for its loyalty program and to-go business. According to Masino, Cracker Barrel will start serving some of the new dishes across the company in early August. But Masino isn't aiming to change everything about Cracker Barrel. "Our goal is to take what people love about Cracker Barrel and open the aperture a little bit so that more people love Cracker Barrel," she said.

The s'mores bars were a hit, though I wish the graham-cracker layer was thicker. I liked Trader Joe's s'mores bars, but had a few notes. New York CNN —One of the most eagerly anticipated items ever made by Taco Bell is finally getting a nationwide release. The “Big Cheez-It Tostada” layers ground beef, reduced-fat sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce and cheddar cheese on the cheesy cracker for $3.49. Taco Bell is also adding a "Big Cheez-It Box" to menus for a limited time. Like other fast food chains, Taco Bell’s parent, Yum Brands, isn’t resistant to a slowdown in consumer spending, especially among lower-income diners. Shares of Yum Brands (YUM) have risen nearly 5% for the year.

After a week focused on Nvidia , CNBC's Jim Cramer said investors should prepare to turn their attention from the artificial intelligence giant to retailers. He pointed to a slate of upcoming earnings reports from outfits including Costco and Dollar General . On Thursday, Cramer will be eyeing earnings reports from Dollar General and Burlington Stores . Kohl's , Cracker Barrel , Gap , Marvell Technology , Ulta , Dell and Costco also report on Thursday. Lastly on Thursday, Cramer will be waiting to see if Cloudflare can make a comeback at its investor day.

☆ Rihanna’s makes Chinese street food to promote Fenty Beauty to China’s Gen Z

She’s a business mogul in every sense: Aside from a prolific music career, she’s launched successful brands including her cosmetics empire Fenty Beauty – worth an estimated $2.8 billion according to Forbes – and her lingerie label Savage X Fenty. Her latest move in China to promote makeup products is something of a masterclass in how to tap into its lucrative – mostly online – Gen Z market. On Tuesday night, the chart-topping singer attended a Fenty Beauty pop-up held at a Shanghai photography museum, “servin’ face” according to brand’s Instagram, and “jianbing” – a popular Chinese breakfast crepe that costs about a dollar. In a screengrab from Instagram, Rihanna makes jianbing in Shanghai, China, during a visit to promote Fenty Beauty. While Fenty Beauty products have been available in the country since 2019, the brand announced this March that it would be expanding its presence via Sephora stores on the mainland.

Take-Two Interactive Software — Shares of the video game company were down more than 2% after an update about the timing of the new Grand Theft Auto game. Doximity also reported in line revenue guidance for the first quarter. Expected revenue of $585 million to $589 million was weaker than the $590.2 million consensus estimate. The information technology company expects earnings of 55 cents to 60 cents per share in the first quarter, weaker than the FactSet consensus estimate of 76 cents earnings per share. Revenue guidance of $3.1 billion to $3.150 billion was less than the anticipated $3.3 billion.
