November 10 - Miles Kelly scored 27 points and Tyzhaun Claude added 19 to fuel host Georgia Tech to an 88-85 victory over Howard on Thursday night in Atlanta.
Georgia Tech also overcame a 4-for-18 performance from 3-point range (22.2 percent) and 16-for-27 effort from the foul line (59.3 percent).
Kelly drained a go-ahead 3-pointer and added another jumper to stake Georgia Tech to an 80-76 lead with two minutes remaining in the second half.
Kelly responded by drilling a pair of free throws to push Georgia Tech's lead to 86-82 with 15 seconds left.
He then stole the ball and added two more free throws before Strong's 3-pointer capped the scoring.
