Women's rights activist Lilly Ledbetter has died, according to a family representative. Ledbetter, best known for advocating for equal pay for women, died as a result of respiratory failure on Saturday night. But Democrats in Congress — urged on by a dissenting opinion from Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg — fought to pass the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. CNN —Fifty-six years after a Florida milkman failed to return home after his rounds, his homicide has been solved, closing the oldest cold case in Indian River County Sheriff’s Office history.
