The Central Texas television station KCEN team mourned one of their own live on-air Oct. 30 and announced the death of co-anchor Kris Radcliffe. Co-anchor Lindsay Liepman of KCEN, an NBC affiliate in Temple, Texas, became visibly emotional as she shared during the Wednesday newscast that Radcliffe “died unexpectedly.” He was 51. She reminisced about their time off-screen and extended her condolences to his family, including Radcliffe’s wife, daughters and grandchildren, as well as his sister. She continued by saying Radcliffe’s death “is a true loss for our community.” He was then honored with a video montage about his life and mentorship at the news station. He then became the morning anchor for Texas Today, where he held the position for nine years before transitioning into the evening anchor role.

Kim Kardashian has been granted a restraining order against a man who has been trying to get in contact with her and claimed to speak with her telepathically, according to court documents obtained by TODAY.com. On Monday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Adrian Gidaya Roxas granted Kardashian, 42, the permanent five-year restraining order, ordering the man to stay at least 100 yards away from Kardashian and prohibiting him from contacting her directly or indirectly. The reality TV star also said that she was worried that without a restraining order the man might attempt to gain access to her and he might “escalate to physical violence,” especially after he claimed to own a gun. Per the restraining order, the man cannot own, possess or buy any firearms and must surrender any he has to law enforcement. An attorney for the Chrisleys, known for their USA Network series “Chrisley Knows Best,” said in a statement that the couple is planning to appeal. But Todd and Julie are people of faith, and that faith gives them strength as they appeal their convictions,” family attorney Alex Little said Tuesday. Todd Chrisley was sentenced Monday to 12 years in prison, and Julie Chrisley to seven years. Additionally, as part of sentencing, both Todd and Julie Chrisley will have to pay an undetermined amount in restitution that will be determined at a later date.
