In six years with the Giants, Jones has a 24-44-1 record with one postseason appearance in 2022 — his only winning season. The New Jersey native made six starts as a rookie in place of the injured Jones in 2023, totaling eight touchdowns and three interceptions while going 3-3. DeVito and the Giants will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, with both teams coming off their bye week.

The Bears rank seventh against the pass, have allowed only 18.6 points per game (seventh-best) and have 16 takeaways (also seventh). Foes do find it hard to run on Baltimore, which gives up an NFL-low 73.0 rushing yards per game. They are holding opponents to a league-best 13.1 points per game, and haven’t allowed more than 20 points in any game this season. The Buffalo Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 30-21 in a showdown between two of the best teams in the AFC on Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. On the first possession of the game, Mahomes threw an interception and Buffalo took advantage of the costly turnover. After a scoreless third quarter, the Bills extended their lead to 23-14 after Allen threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Curtis Samuel. Allen evaded the Chiefs pass rushers and scrambled into the end zone for a 26-yard touchdown and put the game out of reach. Meanwhile, Mahomes threw for 196 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

After winning in Washington, the first game of a daunting second-half schedule, do the Pittsburgh Steelers belong in the Super Bowl conversation? Few college football programs have won more consistently than Ohio State under Ryan Day or Penn State under James Franklin. And yet when the third-ranked Nittany Lions (7-0) and the fourth-ranked Buckeyes (6-1) meet Saturday, a single question looms over both coaches. In the process, a win would move Penn State closer to securing what would be the first appearance in the College Football Playoff in Franklin’s decade in charge. Would the playoff selection committee select a two-loss Ohio State team? It’s a debate that would be opened should it lose to Penn State for the first time since 2016.
