He’s going to be a killer rebounder, monster screener and will consistently establish his position even against some of the stronger NBA players. I’m done doubting Edey, even as an NBA player. As an enormous ballhandler with serious touch and incredible vision as a passer, Topić is clearly an NBA player, even if it doesn’t all translate. Shannon is an elite athlete, but the NBA game requires more nuance, especially if he continues to be an inconsistent shooter. However, I also think he’s more than just a floor spacer on offense in spot-up situations and potentially as an off-ball scorer.

The Chicago Bears acquired pass rusher Montez Sweat from the Washington Commanders for a 2024 second-round draft pick, a person with knowledge of the trade told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity Tuesday because neither team had announced the deal. The move is the first selloff by Washington, which has lost five of six since starting the season 2-0. 2 pick and Defensive Rookie of the Year, also is a candidate to be traded, along with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett and running back Antonio Gibson. The Commanders already committed big money to defensive tackles Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne and also have the option of bringing back Young.

Cleveland allowed an opponent to score two defensive touchdowns for the first time since Pittsburgh did it on Oct. 16, 1983. The Browns played most of the final three quarters without Chubb, who was carted off the field with what appeared to be his second major left knee injury. Chubb took a handoff from Watson early in the second quarter and reached the Pittsburgh 3 when Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick dove at Chubb's legs. CNN —Deshaun Watson is expected to start for the Cleveland Browns in the first game he is eligible to return from suspension, team general manager Andrew Berry said on Wednesday. Watson is eligible to return on December 4 against his former team, the Houston Texans on the road. The 27-year-old Watson returned to the team’s training facility on October 10 and has been able to participate in limited activities. Berry was extremely complimentary of Jacoby Brissett, who has been starting for the team in place of Watson this season. The Browns next scheduled game is on November 13 against the Dolphins in Miami.
