Plenty of other Boeing planes will remain in Icelandair's fleet.
It currently flies 21 Boeing 737 Max aircraft, which it ordered in 2012 before the A321LR or A321XLR were available.

At least 23,000 Max flights are scheduled for 2025, including new routes to Nashville and Istanbul.
The 2×2 cabin does not have lie-flat seats as seen on the A321LR planes flown by JetBlue Airways or Ireland's Aer Lingus long-haul.
