Former NHL star Paul Bissonnette landed in the hospital after he was assaulted by seven men in a brawl that broke out at an Arizona restaurant over the weekend, he said. He said the fight escalated "extremely quickly" and involved seven men against him. The fight spilled over from the restaurant to the parking lot, and then to a nearby CVS. The six men arrested face assault and disorderly conduct charges, police said. Bissonnette described the situation as “bad dudes” who were “way too drunk.”“I’m very, very angry about these guys,” Bissonnette said.

Paul Bissonnette said on the ‘Spittin’ Chiclets’ podcast he was told by an unidentified player that Babcock asked captain Boone Jenner to show him photos. Bissonnette, a former NHL player-turned-analyst for TNT, relayed he was informed Babcock told Jenner: “Let me see the photos in your phone. “While meeting with our players and staff I asked them to share, off their phones, family pictures as part of the process of getting to know them better," Babcock said. And to have them depicted like this is irresponsible and completely inaccurate.”Jenner said Babcock asked him about his family, where he's from and his upcoming wedding, along with hockey-related conversation. “He showed me pictures of his family.”Bissonnette responded to the statements with a profane social media post that told Babcock to knock it off.

His parents soon started exploring a lawsuit against Merck, the developer of the blockbuster asthma and allergy drug, Singulair, along with the manufacturer of the generic version their son took. That meant Merck had written the warning label, with federal approval, on the generic version of Singulair that Nicholas England took. But his parents couldn’t sue Merck, either, because their son had never taken its name-brand version of Singulair. The generic drug manufacturer that made the pills England took, Teva Pharmaceuticals, did not respond to inquiries. Since Merck’s patent on Singulair expired in 2012, major generic drug manufacturers have sold millions of prescriptions under the drug’s scientific name, montelukast.
