We think so," Melius analyst Ben Reitzes said in a research report on Monday. We think infrastructure software may be harder to disrupt," the Melius analyst said. Apple, AMD and Intel should benefit from looming product cycles and an eventual easing of cloud capital expenditures spending, according to Reitzes. For Apple, the analyst believes consumers will favor its iPhone 16 out in September given its "Apple Intelligence" AI capabilities. His price targets on Intel and AMD suggest the stocks can advance some 16% and 22%, respectively, over the next year.

Just because CNBC's Jim Cramer thinks investors should own Nvidia — not trade it — doesn't mean he thinks they should buy it right now. On Tuesday, he said he still believes in the company but explained why the stock's rally may not continue. "While Nvidia's a great company with a great stock, in the end, it's still a stock. Cramer reaffirmed his belief that Nvidia, which hit a new high Tuesday, "pretty much owns AI, and AI pretty much owns the future," saying the company has been focused on developing extremely fast chips for decades. "The buyers haven't repealed the laws of what governs a stock, even if that stock is Nvidia," he said.

Nvidia is proving itself a key beneficiary as technology companies "spend like crazy" to take advantage of artificial intelligence, according to Melius Research. "Sometimes a no brainer is a no brainer," analyst Ben Reitzes wrote on Monday. Apple is wrapping up a rough quarter, but history and Wall Street analysis show there is reason to expect a bounce ahead. Apple shares have typically risen following a quarter that ends down at least 10%, according to CNBC Pro data. 'Best bought on weakness' Despite the tough period, Wall Street sees reason for optimism ahead. Apple "is a stock best bought on weakness in general as they probably have the best, or one of the best management teams in the world," Mahoney said. In the median quarter following the losing one, shares jumped more than 14%.
