CNN —Six-time Olympic champion Chris Hoy has announced that he has terminal cancer and that doctors have given him two to four years to live. In February, Hoy disclosed that he had been diagnosed with cancer, though he did not announce the type or his prognosis. Hoy made his Olympic debut at the Sydney Summer Games in 2000 where he won a silver in the men’s team sprint event.
