Wally Funk a devenit prima femeie inspector a agenţiei americane de aviaţie, FAA. Apoi capsula va începe o cădere liberă pentru a reveni pe Pământ şi va fi încetinită de trei paraşute mari şi de retrorachete înainte de a ateriza într-un deşert din vestul Texasului.
