Nov 3 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia has expressed interest in buying a multibillion-dollar stake in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the world's richest cricket league, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's advisers have spoken to Indian government officials about moving the IPL into a holding company valued at as much as $30 billion, the report said. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the custodian of the IPL, did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for a comment. IPL is one of the richest leagues in the world and has been attracting top players and coaches to India since its inaugural edition in 2008. The city has been declared a 'no-drone zone' on Saturday, and 11,000 security personnel will be deployed for the high-profile match, Ahmedabad police commissioner GS Malik said. The senior selection committee, led by Chetan Sharma, had initially been sacked in November after India were knocked out of the Twenty20 World Cup in the semi-finals in Australia. Agarkar was recently a coach with Indian Premier League side Delhi Capitals but parted ways after this year's tournament. "The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) ... interviewed applicants for the position of one selector in the Men's Selection Committee," the BCCI said in a statement. NEW DELHI, Oct 27 (Reuters) - India's men and women cricket teams will be paid the same appearance fees to represent their country, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah said on Thursday. "We are implementing pay equity policy for our contracted BCCI women cricketers," Shaw wrote in a post on Twitter. "The match fee for both men and women cricketers will be same as we move into a new era of gender equality in Indian cricket." Under their current annual contracts, women cricketers in the highest bracket earn 5 million rupees, while Grade B players take home 3 million and Grade C, 1 million. Former India women team captain Mithali Raj hailed the announcement on Twitter as "historic".
