I just don’t get Taylor Swift. Again, I respect the Taylor Swift lovers. The Cut recently published a piece by a woman who ended a relationship with a friend who didn’t like Taylor Swift. However, the days of Taylor Swift as an ultimate cultural barometer may be waning. If you don’t love Taylor Swift, if you don’t hate her; if she is simply not something that affects your life whatsoever, it’s probably safe to come out now.

Editor’s Note: Featuring the good, the bad and the ugly, ‘Look of the Week’ is a regular series dedicated to unpacking the most talked about outfit of the last seven days. CNN —If it wasn’t for the fact she was signing autographs outside the CBS studio in New York, many would have thought Billie Piper was attempting to go unnoticed. Wrapped, folded or tied under the chin; the headscarf is perhaps one of the most diverse — and historic — accessories in fashion’s arsenal. The same day, Julia Fox was spotted in another headscarf — styled with her Velveeta cheese curls and chunky boots. Sewn under the chin with the corners laid flat like a collar, each was etched with a different hairstyle.

LONDON, May 25 (Reuters) - ABBA members Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus have dismissed a reunion at next year's Eurovision Song Contest in their native Sweden, which will also mark the 50th anniversary of when the supergroup won the competition with "Waterloo". Sweden's Loreen won Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool, northern England, this month, meaning the Nordic country will host next year's contest. "We can celebrate 50 years of ABBA without us being on stage," Ulvaeus added. Formed in 1972, ABBA won legions of fans around the world after triumphing at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, with their enduring hits such as "Dancing Queen" and "Fernando". Last year they launched a London concert residency as digital avatars - versions of themselves from their 1970s heyday thanks to motion-capture technology.
Eugen Rochko told BBC Newsnight that Elon Musk's leadership style "shows incompetence." Mastodon has recently surged in popularity as users seek alternatives to Musk's Twitter. "Frankly, I'm not a fan of it," Eugen Rochko told BBC Newsnight on Friday. The platform's popularity has surged, with downloads up more than 650% in the 12 days following Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, according to SensorTower. Rochko told Newsnight he created Mastodon precisely because he recognised the importance of Twitter as a tool for global communication.
BBC Newsnight reported that child abuse images found on other websites originated on OnlyFans. OnlyFans said the BBC had prevented it from investigating because it didn't hand over evidence. Amrapali Gan, CEO of OnlyFans, told the BBC: "We actively work with law enforcement. We're truly the safest and most inclusive social media platform." The investigator used by Newsnight believed the images were created in the past six months and had OnlyFans watermarks.
The UK's former spy chief, Sir Alex Younger, said Vladimir Putin will be replaced in "due course." Younger said he expects Putin's replacement to be even more right-wing and extreme. Sir Alex Younger, who served as MI6 chief from 2014 and 2020, appeared on BBC Newsnight on Tuesday and was asked by presenter Kirsty Wark whether Putin could be overthrown. Wark suggested to Younger that Putin's replacement might be more extreme and further to the right. He will be replaced, but will be replaced by critics from the right."
