CNN —The major global medical association for endocrinologists will review its clinical guidelines for gender-affirming care, the Endocrine Society told CNN on Monday. The society’s current guidelines lay out the appropriate treatment for transgender or gender-diverse people, both children and adults. The last time the committee updated its gender-affirming care guidelines was in 2017; it previously revised them in 2009. Every major US medical association – including the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry – agrees that gender-affirming care is clinically appropriate for children and adults. LONDON, Nov 1 (Reuters) - The British government is breaching the withdrawal agreement with the European Union by requiring EU citizens to reapply for the right to live and work in the United Kingdom, an independent body set up to oversee citizens’ rights told a London court on Tuesday. The Independent Monitoring Authority (IMA) says the Home Office’s post-Brexit settlement scheme unlawfully requires up to 2.6 million EU citizens to make a second application after being allowed to remain in the UK or lose their rights of residence. He said that this aspect of the EU settlement scheme – and a similar scheme for citizens from the countries of the European Economic Area and the European Free Trade Association – is “straightforwardly incompatible with the withdrawal agreement”. Studenții de la Facultățile de Drept din țară își testează cunoștințele în cadrul unui proces simulat de Drept PenalAsociația Europeană a Studenților în Drept (European law Students’ Association – ELSA), Republica Moldova, organizează finala Concursului Național de Procese Simulate de Drept Penal ce are ca obiect dezbaterea unui caz fictiv respectând procedurile dintr-un proces real de drept penal. Concursul Național de Procese Simulate de Drept Penal este coordonat de ELSA Republica Moldova, prin intermediul departamentului „Procese Simulate”. Scopul fiind acela de a contribui la educația juridică a viitorilor juriști, stimulând înțelegerea reciprocă și promovând responsabilitatea socială. Asociația Europeană a Studenților în Drept este cea mai mare organizație internațională, independentă, apolitică și non-profit a studenților în drept și a tinerilor juriști. În Republica Moldova ELSA a apărut în anul 2014, la inițiativa mai multor studenți de la facultatea de drept a Universității de Stat din Moldova, cu suportul ELSA Iași.
