Israeli soldiers can be seen throwing apparently lifeless bodies from a rooftop during a raid in the occupied West Bank, videos geolocated by NBC News show — an incident the Israeli military said Friday was under review and did not align with its values. The videos first emerged on social media Thursday and show Israeli soldiers on a rooftop near the town of Qabatiya, west of Jenin, in the north of the West Bank. Another video showing more of the incident from a different angle shows three men throwing three bodies from the rooftop, one by one. Palestinian health officials said earlier this month that nearly 700 Palestinians have died in the West Bank since the Oct. 7 attacks, which Israeli officials said killed 1,200 people and saw some 250 taken hostage.

A former CIA officer was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years in prison for drugging and sexually abusing and filming multiple women without their consent, in one of the most serious misconduct cases in the agency's history. He also pleaded guilty to drugging and sexually abusing four women, as well as engaging in nonconsensual sexual contact with six women, as part of a plea agreement. "After drugging these women, he stripped, sexually abused, and photographed them. Raymond read out a statement in court in which he expressed remorse for his actions, according to the AP.

Divers scouring the wreckage of the superyacht that sank off the Sicilian coast have found the body of the last person missing from the luxury boat, believed to be the daughter of a British tech magnate. The body of Mike Lynch's 18-year-old daughter Hannah was discovered early Friday, the Italian Coast Guard said, according to the Associated Press news agency — the culmination of a challenging five-day rescue operation. One other body, of the ship’s cook Recaldo Thomas, was recovered shortly after the accident. The local prosecutor's office has launched an investigation, though no cause or possible suspects had been publicly identified. Italian prosecutors investigating the case have scheduled a news conference on Saturday.
