CNN —Looks like Buddy the Elf is trading in maple syrup for an ice cold beer. Will Ferrell attended the Kings-Flyers game at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena Sunday dressed up as his iconic character from the beloved 2003 holiday movie “Elf,” and Buddy was looking a little worse for the wear this time. Buddy’s “disgruntled” look is because he had a “tough holiday season,” according to FanDuel Sports Network reporter Carrlyn Bathe, who spoke to Buddy at the game. “Elf” was directed by Jon Favreau and starred Ferrell, Zooey Deschanel, the late James Cann, Mary Steenbergen, Ed Asner, Peter Dinklage and Bob Newhart, among others. Here’s hoping the next time we see Buddy, he’s back to indulging in the sweeter things life brings.

His death was confirmed by his daughter Julia Buchwald. “Everyone should have a Don Buchwald in their life,” Mr. Stern told The New York Times in a profile of Mr. Buchwald in 2018. “I’d never want to be without him, and I don’t need anyone but him. In 1984, Mr. Stern was a shock jock in a rocky relationship with his bosses at WNBC-AM in New York and in need of more career help than his lawyers could provide. Only Mr. Buchwald was interested, and they agreed to meet.

NEW YORK (AP) — Richard Moll, a character actor who found lasting fame as an eccentric but gentle giant bailiff on the original “Night Court” sitcom, has died. Moll played "Bull” Shannon on NBC's “Night Court” from 1984-1992 alongside stars Harry Anderson and John Larroquette. The towering actor — he was 6-feet 8-inches tall — did not join the reboot of “Night Court” starring Larroquette. Raised in Pasadena, California, Moll was a history and psychology major at the University of California at Berkeley, and graduated in 1964. Moll is survived by his children, Chloe and Mason Moll; ex-wife, Susan Moll; and stepchildren Cassandra Card and Morgan Ostling.

Here are my answers to eight other burning questions people have when they find out I play Santa. I was a volunteer Santa for seven years, and a paid Santa for two years before attending a Santa School.
