Ireland offers generous cash grants for those who want to live on remote islands off its western coast.
To meet the funding criteria, people must buy property on one of the idyllic islands.
The new initiative will come into effect on July 1.
However, a person must own property on one of the islands built before 1993 that has been vacant for at least two years.
Something else to consider is that while anyone can own property in Ireland, that doesn't necessarily guarantee the right to live in the country, according to CNN.
