An animated movie based on the long-running animated children’s series is in development, with Jennifer Lopez attached to executive produce and “In the Heights” star Anthony Ramos set to voice the beloved titular cartoon contractor. This new take on “Bob the Builder” will “celebrate the vibrant and colorful textures of the Caribbean Latin nations and their people.”Aside from voicing Bob the Builder, Ramos will also serve as a producer. LAS VEGAS — CinemaCon kicked off Monday with a major announcement from Sony Pictures — its upcoming "Kraven the Hunter" would mark the first R-rated Marvel film produced by the studio. "F--- yes, it's rated R," said Kraven himself Aaron Taylor-Johnson in a pretaped teaser for the film before Sony showed the first trailer for the profane and bloody action flick. Sony showed 14 minutes of the film — due out June 2 — to CinemaCon audiences, who laughed and cheered for the uniquely animated feature. The two actors have both been cast in “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.”“Rise of the Beasts” director Steven Caple Jr. revealed the news on Tuesday, sharing videos of the two doing voice work in an Instagram post. Yeoh plays Airazor and Davidson voices Mirage. “Rise of the Beasts” will introduce the Maximals and Terrorcons, who will battle the Autobots and Decepticons. Mirage has previously appeared in “Transformers,” and was played by the late actor Francesco Quinn in 2011’s “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.”“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” is scheduled to hit theaters on June 9, 2023.
