Prime Minister Gabriel Attal has said French voters now have a "moral duty" to halt the party's advance. The officer — a father of three who's in his 40s, and a right-leaning voter — said the polarization in French society was "very worrying, but unfortunately normal with the 'diversity' of our society." The police officer said he expected civil unrest after the vote, whichever party gained the most votes. "There will be civil unrest whoever is elected, this is France and the people speak their mind." Civil unrest possiblePolitical experts agree that the current febrile atmosphere of French politics, and antagonism between the main bodies of voters, are the ingredients for further civil unrest.

[1/3] NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg shakes hands with Bosnian Prime Minister Borjana Kristo during his visit to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, November 20, 2023. Bosnia emerged from a 1992-1995 war with a federal structure uniting a Serb-dominated republic with a federation of Croats and Bosniak Muslims. "We are concerned by secessionist and divisive rhetoric as well as .. foreign interference including Russia," Stoltenberg told reporters in Sarajevo, his first stop during a tour of the Western Balkans region. NATO has warned about risks for Bosnia from foreign interference, particularly from Russia, and agreed to help to shore up its ability to defend itself. Every country has the right to choose its security arrangements without foreign interference," Stoltenberg said after meeting the chairwoman of Bosnia's Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo.

JAMES LEE WALL, 40, was strolling through downtown Manhattan in September when a blazer stopped him in his tracks. “I was walking by that Italian men’s store, Boglioli—they had a camel-colored cashmere blazer in the window,” said the real-estate broker. “I stood there for five minutes thinking, ‘Man, I need to get that blazer.’” Though he hasn’t yet taken the plunge, he’s still thinking about the jacket. Throwing on [a blazer] adds that extra touch.”It’s an extra others want, too, said New York personal stylist Turner Allen, who caters to tech hotshots. In 2022 Brooks Brothers clocked a 44% year-over-year jump in blazer sales, according to a brand spokesperson.

Even when we have a friendly match, you still need to win the game so we are here to qualify (for the quarter-finals)." He was only hired by France in late-March after Corinne Diacre was sacked in the wake of a player revolt. The fifth-ranked squad have watched as top 10 teams United States, Germany, Brazil and Canada have all been unceremoniously dumped from an expanded 32-nation World Cup that is enjoying more parity than ever. Aston Villa midfielder Kenza Dali said France feel confident amid the turmoil. So yes, different things are happening during this World Cup, but we need to focus on ourselves and not think that the way things have happened for us have been easier than it was for others."

KRESEVO, Bosnia, May 11 (Reuters) - Four sisters are building the first Hobbit-style village in southeast Europe in the green hills of central Bosnia, hoping to attract fans of "The Lord of the Rings" books and movies as well as sharing their childhood memories. Last year Marija, a 28-year-old geology engineer, proposed to her sisters Milijana, Vedrana and Valentina that they build house in the style of the Hobbit homes in J.R.R. The sisters decided that their houses must include characteristics of the area where they live and that each sister would decorate one dwelling as she likes. [1/5] Milijana Milicevic stands in front of the hobbit house named "Lipa", in the Bosnian Hobbiton village, Rakova Noga, Bosnia and Herzegovina, May 9, 2023. The other three houses, which should be completed soon, will also be named after local attractions.
NECK AND NECK A sliding scale of undone-ness. From left: buttoned-up actor Rami Malek; former President Barack Obama looking discreet; actor Hugh Jackman in a revelatory button-up; late actor and ’70s sex symbol Burt Reynolds, his shirt rakishly (and characteristically) agape. “SHIRT BUTTONS are linked to sexuality,” said Natalie Nudell, particularly when it comes to men’s shirts. Lockdown and the WFH era have rendered ties, already in decline prepandemic, largely extinct. As workers return to offices, few are covering their risqué shirt openings with strips of silk.
