An armed North Carolina man was arrested after it was reported that he had made comments about “possibly harming FEMA employees” involved in hurricane relief efforts in the state, authorities said. Alejandro Arredondo, an architect born in Mexico, is among the few who will ever get to work on the Notre Dame in Paris, France, since its construction nine centuries ago. Nearly 6,000 miles from his native homeland, Arredondo is the only Latino working on the restoration of the 860-year-old gothic cathedral. Three months into the job the unimaginable happened: The Notre Dame cathedral was engulfed in flames.
