CNN —Scottie Scheffler capped one of the most dominant seasons in golf history by retaining the Hero World Challenge, cruising to a six-shot victory at Tiger Woods’ invitational event in the Bahamas. His win at the Albany Golf Club marked Scheffler’s ninth title of 2024, giving him a win rate of 43%. CNN —Tiger Woods returned to competitive golf on Thursday at the Hero World Challenge in Albany, the Bahamas. “I was rusty, I didn’t have my feels,” Woods told the Golf Channel broadcast after the round. On Tuesday, Woods told reporters his goal for next year is to play once per month. “I think the best scenario would be maybe a tournament a month,” Woods said. “I think that’s realistic, whether that’s – you would have to start with maybe at Genesis (the Genesis Invitational in February) and something in March, near the Players (Championship).

Woods announced on social media Saturday he will be playing in the Hero World Challenge, which starts Nov. 30 at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.
