The screenshot of a purported social media post from actor Mel Gibson showing an hourglass within an Israeli flag background is fake, according to a representative for the actor, who added that Gibson has no social media accounts. In response to the viral screenshot, Gibson’s representative Alan Nierob said in an email: “It is a fake post as Mr. Gibson does not have any social media platforms.”Reuters found no evidence of Mel Gibson having a verified account on social media platforms including Facebook, X and Instagram. No authentic post by Gibson resembling the fabricated screenshot could be found on any social media platforms. Gibson apologized in 2006 for antisemitic remarks he made during an arrest in Los Angeles for driving while intoxicated, according to reports by ABC News and The Guardian. Mel Gibson does not have an account on social media and the screenshot of a post attributed to Gibson is fake, according to a representative for the actor.

CNN —Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx is hospitalized in Georgia and under observation, a source with knowledge of the situation tells CNN. His daughter Corinne Foxx shared on Instagram Wednesday night that her father had experienced a “medical complication,” adding that he is “on his way to recovery.”She did not specify what happened medically. The exact nature of Foxx’s medical scare has not been disclosed. Alan Nierob, a spokesman for Jamie Foxx, declined to share anything beyond Corinne Foxx’s Instagram post. The movie “Back in Action,” which includes Jamie Foxx, had recently been filming in Georgia.
