CNN —Caitlin Clark added another milestone to her historic rookie campaign, breaking the WNBA single-season assists record in the Indiana Fever’s 78-74 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Clark entered the game needing just four assists to match the previous record of 316 set by Connecticut Sun guard Alyssa Thomas in 2023. Clark finished the game with 18 points, 9 assists and eight rebounds, while Mitchell led Indiana with 20 points in the loss. CNN —Two-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson and rookie superstar Caitlin Clark lead the early fan voting for the WNBA All-Star Game, the league announced on Friday. A combination of fan, player, media and coach voting will determine who takes part and, after the first round of fan voting, Wilson leads with 217,773 votes and Clark trails just behind with 216,427. Wilson, a five-time All-Star already, is the current league leader in scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 27.9 points and 11.3 rebounds each game.
