The Buffalo Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 30-21 in a showdown between two of the best teams in the AFC on Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. On the first possession of the game, Mahomes threw an interception and Buffalo took advantage of the costly turnover. After a scoreless third quarter, the Bills extended their lead to 23-14 after Allen threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Curtis Samuel. Allen evaded the Chiefs pass rushers and scrambled into the end zone for a 26-yard touchdown and put the game out of reach. Meanwhile, Mahomes threw for 196 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

There’s an argument to be made that Thursday’s game between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles is the most important Commanders regular season game in nearly 20 years. The cake, which no longer looks edible, survived for almost eight decades since the wedding day on November 20, 1947. Reeman DansieElizabeth and Philip’s wedding cake was an extravagant, nine-foot tall (2.7 meters) creation, which weighed 500 pounds. Meanwhile, cake served at Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding and then kept in plastic wrap in an old cake tin similarly sold for £1,850 (then $2,565) at an auction in 2021. That 40-year-old cake slice featured a coat-of-arms colored in gold, red, blue and silver, a silver horseshoe and leaf spray, as well as some white decorative icing.

CNN —A series of Israeli raids and airstrikes in towns and villages in the occupied West Bank that stretched overnight from Monday into late Tuesday have killed at least eight people, according to Palestinian authorities and local residents. Two Palestinians were killed in the town of Tamoun, said the governor of nearby Tubas, Ahmad Assad, alleging that one of the bodies was removed from the scene by the Israeli military with a bulldozer. Two were killed by Israeli gunfire, and two others killed when an Israeli military vehicle rammed a car and opened fire, according to residents and video seen by CNN. Israel has previously described its stepped-up military offensives in the West Bank as targeting militants and “terrorist infrastructure.”The bloodshed comes as violence surges in the West Bank, where the Israeli military has intensified incursions following the Hamas-led October 7 attacks. Since October 7, 2023, Israeli troops and settlers have killed at least 775 Palestinians, including 167 children, in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, the Palestinian health ministry reported on Tuesday.
