Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested Tuesday on alleged violations of his conditions of supervised release, according to federal authorities.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was arrested on a warrant issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, court records show.
He was scheduled for an arraignment Tuesday afternoon, court records said.
Lawyers listed for the artist in court records were not immediately reached for comment.
In 2019, Tekashi 6ix9ine was sentenced to a reduced two years in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to racketeering, firearms offenses and drug trafficking.
