Small-caps, small-cap value, non-US value stocks are expected to outperform with low valuations. Research Affiliates Founder Rob Arnott sees a bear market ahead for large-cap growth stocks. New York prosecutors told the judge who presided over Donald Trump's hush money trial on Tuesday that his sentencing should be postponed while the president-elect's lawyers file further legal arguments asking the case be dismissed. The proposal Tuesday from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office would need to be signed off on by Judge Juan Merchan to become official. A ruling against Trump on the issue would have paved the way for the judge to proceed with his sentencing, which was tentatively scheduled for Nov. 26. That case has been paused while Trump and some of his co-defendants seek to have an appeals court remove Willis from the case for an alleged conflict of interest. Trump's lawyers have contended that even if she’s allowed to remain on the case, any Trump trial would have to wait until he’s out of office in 2029 because of constitutional issues.

The cups have been excavated from the Indus Valley as far back as the end of the Stone Age, 5,000 years ago. Lately, synthetic materials like plastic and paper have started replacing these clay cups, as they are cheaper and more convenient for vendors to acquire. But the clay cups still persist in India. We went inside a kulhad workshop outside Kolkata to see how the traditional clay cup business is still standing.

"Baywatch" actor Michael Newman has died on Sunday after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2006, his director and friend confirmed. He also said that before Newman died, he read him letters and played videos from friends of all walks of life, so "he knew he was loved." Felker told People magazine that Newman died on Sunday night of "heart complications," surrounded by friends and family. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at age 50, Newman revealed what life with the disease was like in the docuseries, which profiled cast members' lives after starring in "Baywatch." He reprised his role as "Newmie" in three episodes of the 1995 spinoff series "Baywatch Nights."

The combination of recent Supreme Court rulings on presidential power with the Democratic Party’s nomination crisis in the wake of Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance has significantly improved Donald Trump’s prospects — not only his odds of once again becoming president, but also of enacting a sweeping authoritarian agenda. Trump’s debt to the six-member conservative majority on the Supreme Court is twofold. First, their delay. By waiting until the last day of the court’s term to issue their decision on Trump’s immunity claims, the justices effectively prevented prosecution of federal criminal charges against him before the election. “By shielding Donald Trump from standing trial before a jury in two of his felony cases,” Michael Podhorzer, a former political director of the AFL-CIO, writes in a post on his Substack, Tipping the Scales, “Trump’s three appointments to the Supreme Court, along with the even more MAGA Justices Alito and Thomas and Judge Aileen Cannon, have already irreparably interfered in the 2024 election.”Second, the substance of the July 1 ruling in Trump v.
