WASHINGTON — All of a sudden, Kamala Harris is talking about the border — and relishing it.
“It needs to be repaired, and we are working on that in a way that we establish a safe and humane and orderly immigration system at the border,” Harris said.
As illegal border crossings soared, Harris’ critics blamed the Biden administration — and Harris herself.
“For three and a half years, ‘border czar’ Harris has allowed terrorists and criminals to pour across our wide-open border,” he said.
Now that the numbers are down, Harris' allies argue that Republicans are making an “active mistake” by trying to link Harris to them.
