CNN —Jeremy Renner has made leaps and bounds in his recovery after a near-fatal snowplow accident in January – and this week, those leaps and bounds could be seen, literally. On Tuesday, the “Avengers” star marked “10 months of recovery” by sharing a video on his Instagram page that showcased himself hopping down a hill, and then running back up. It’s an impressive feat considering Renner previously revealed on his social media that he had broken over 30 bones as a result of the accident, including a shattered tibia and a broken knee. His injuries included eight ribs broken in 14 places, a broken eye socket, a collapsed lung and a pierced liver, and he’s been documenting his months of intensive rehabilitation on his social media ever since. “I keep pushing for many reasons,” he wrote on Thursday.

CNN —A Florida Republican lawmaker, after flipping his support to former President Donald Trump, is now publicly questioning Gov. Ron DeSantis’ support for the Jewish community. In the tug of war for home-state supremacy, Trump has gained the upper hand in part by exploiting rifts between DeSantis and Florida Republicans. Upstaging the governorThe personal vendettas help explain the lengths that Trump and his allies have traveled to upstage the Florida governor. “I think Ron DeSantis has been a good governor of Florida,” he told CNN.

CNN —Jeremy Renner has physically recovered from the near-fatal accident he suffered last January, but the experience has stayed with him. My life is really lean, if that makes sense. So, there’s something really beautiful about having that superpower.”Renner added that his time feels “more valuable” now.

CNN —Actor Jeremy Renner made his first red carpet appearance since he sustained serious injuries after being crushed by a snowplow near his Nevada home in January. Renner attended a premiere screening in Los Angeles for his new Disney+ reality series, “Rennervations.” In the show, which was filmed prior to his accident, Renner “reimagines” decommissioned government vehicles and donates them to serve children in communities in need. Jeremy Renner (C) and family attend the Los Angeles premiere of Disney+'s original series "Rennervations" on April 11. “I feel like everyone is in on the joke now about what I’ve been doing with my time. During a discussion hosted by Jimmy Kimmel following Tuesday’s screening, the late-night host jokingly asked Renner if he plans to repurpose “that f—ing snowblower?”“It’s a snowcat,” Renner responded.
LOS ANGELES, March 29 (Reuters) - "Hawkeye" actor Jeremy Renner said he broke more than 30 bones and sustained a collapsed lung and pierced liver in a January snowplow accident, disclosing for the first time the full extent of his injuries. The actor, 52, spoke in an interview with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer, and clips were released on Wednesday. The interview will air April 6.loadingIn his accident, Renner was plowing snow at his Nevada home when the machine began to roll away while the actor was not in the driver seat. “I was awake through every moment,” Renner told Sawyer as he recalled the physical pain he felt. He was nominated for an Academy Award for best actor for his work in 2008 film "The Hurt Locker" and for best supporting actor for his work in 2010 movie "The Town."
Actor Jeremy Renner is out of the hospital and back at home after he was run over by a snowplow earlier this month and sustained serious injuries. Renner, 52, has been keeping fans updated on his progress since he was hospitalized on New Year’s Day following the accident. Renner had blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries from the accident, his representative, Sam Mast, said earlier this month. Renner went to speak to a family member when the snowplow started to roll toward him. Neighbors helped Renner while he waited 40 minutes for first responders to arrive because of the weather conditions, Balaam said.
Florida could soon become the 26th state to allow individuals to carry concealed loaded guns anywhere without permits — a growing trend that has alarmed gun safety groups. “Constitutional carry” and “permitless carry” laws eliminate the requirement. Permitless carry laws get rid of that requirement. “Permitless carry causes harm, and there is data to prove it,” said Shannon Watts, a board member at the gun violence prevention group Everytown for Gun Safety. She pointed to multiple studies showing that states that have implemented permitless carry have had upticks in both gun violence and police shootings.
Actor Jeremy Renner was run over by his own snow plow while moving snow near his home near Reno, Nevada. The incident happened while the actor was trying clear his own car, driven by a family member, from the snow. "There was about three feet that we just received on top of whatever else they'd received prior to this big snowstorm, but three feet of fresh snow," Balaam said. Renner used his own plow, described as a PistenBully that weighs more than 14,000 pounds, to extract the car from the snow. Balaam described Renner as a "great neighbor" who often cleared the roads for others after snowstorms and was a beloved member of the community.
Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition after a weather-related accident. “We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” Renner’s rep confirmed. That area in northern Nevada received heavy snowfall on Near Year’s Eve, according to the newspaper. In 2015, Renner posted an Instagram photo of a snowcat vehicle, which is used to travel over snowy terrain in difficult conditions. He also recently teased an unscripted series he’s starring in at Disney Plus in 2023 called “Rennervations.”
