Willis has received a subpoena to appear at a deposition as part of the divorce proceedings on Tuesday. On Thursday, Trump’s legal team formally asked a judge to sever his case from his co-defendants who want a speedy trial, according to court filings. The prospect of a costly legal defense has prompted some defendants to find other ways to raise money.
