ATLANTA (AP) — Delta Air Lines says it’s bringing former star quarterback Tom Brady on board as a “long-term strategic adviser." Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl winner for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Delta did not disclose how much it is paying Brady. Delta said Brady will play a role in marketing and help the Atlanta-based airline develop training and teamwork tools for its more than 90,000 employees. Brady retired after the 2022 NFL season and is looking to build a post-football career as an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

New York CNN —Delta Air Lines is rolling out free Wi-Fi to most of its planes beginning February 1. Customers will know if their flight has free Wi-Fi by a decal noting it near the boarding door. It has been testing free Wi-Fi over the past several years, and made messaging free in 2017. Delta is the first of the “Big Three” airlines to offer free Wi-Fi: United Airlines and American Airlines (AAL) both charge varying rates for access. JetBlue (JBLU) has offered free Wi-Fi since 2017.
Minnesota regulators have sued a marijuana edibles company, alleging it was selling products 50-times more powerful than what the state permits. State law limits THC-based products to five milligrams per serving or 50 milligrams per package. The FDA has not determined whether the products caused the adverse events, the Minnesota regulators said. The regulators said they were also asking the court to prevent Northland from continuing to manufacture and sell edible cannabinoid products that violate state law. This is the first time it has gone to court to stop products from being sold, the station reported.
