Airbnb also plans to prioritize total price over the nightly price when ranking search results, according to a company blog post. “I’ve heard you loud and clear—you feel like prices aren’t transparent,” CEO Brain Chesky tweeted Monday. Airbnb announced a review of its fee system in May 2021 in response to customer criticism on social media. Customers have faced additional fees for not completing lists of asks assigned by hosts at the end of their stays.
