I'm a Yale student, and I just toured Oxford for the first time while studying abroad. I loved the old-school feel on campus and can see myself being a grad student at Oxford one day. When I first toured Yale, it felt like I encountered the sublime for the first time. However, over the summer, while studying abroad in London, I had the opportunity to spend a day wandering around the streets of Oxford and Oxford University. The city leans toward this impression; many shops play into the medieval university feel, which I loved.

Thomas is among what retirement experts are calling "silver squatters" — adults in their mid-50s who are even more woefully unprepared than some boomers, despite being about a decade away from retirement. This group of Gen Xers — the generation of Americans aged 43 to 59 — largely expects to postpone or work past their retirement. AdvertisementA majority also don't expect to receive any inheritance, despite their boomer predecessors holding onto trillions in wealth. The gap in retirement readiness could be due to the "unique" challenges of Gen Xers, according to Dylan Tyson, the head of retirement strategies at Prudential. Office jargon is another corporate relic that Gen Z is unsubscribing from, refusing to "circle back" or get their "ducks in a row." "Gen Z isn't playing the corporate language game," Emily Durham, a recruiter and popular TikToker, told Business Insider. About 60% of the Gen Z and millennials surveyed said this workplace jargon felt like another language, and two-thirds thought their colleagues overdid it. Jargon is exclusionaryThe "corporate accent" is also joining jargon on the list of workplace cultures that Gen Z is resisting. Given this truism, it's no wonder that the populations of America's so-called superstar cities have stagnated while the Sun Belt's metropolitan areas have boomed. The COVID-era transition to more remote work accelerated this process of "domestic offshoring," a recent study by the workforce-analytics company ADP found. Domestic offshoring regionally segregates middle- and working-class employees from their employers, making it far more difficult for the former group to advance professionally. Domestic offshoring threatens to lock in these effects, potentially costing the country trillions of dollars in forgone wealth creation. But if domestic offshoring persists, fewer of the city's other residents will be middle-class professionals; those people will tend to congregate in domestic-offshoring sites.

Just because CNBC's Jim Cramer thinks investors should own Nvidia — not trade it — doesn't mean he thinks they should buy it right now. On Tuesday, he said he still believes in the company but explained why the stock's rally may not continue. "While Nvidia's a great company with a great stock, in the end, it's still a stock. Cramer reaffirmed his belief that Nvidia, which hit a new high Tuesday, "pretty much owns AI, and AI pretty much owns the future," saying the company has been focused on developing extremely fast chips for decades. "The buyers haven't repealed the laws of what governs a stock, even if that stock is Nvidia," he said.

A sex educator said ambiamorous people might defer to the relationship style their partner wants. AdvertisementMaybe you've decided that you're ready to be in a polyamorous relationship after only being in monogamous ones. Ambiamorous people are flexible to new relationship stylesUnlike polyamorous people, ambiamorous ones are fundamentally open to new relationship styles. That being said, "changing one's relationship structure from monogamy to polyamory — or vice versa — doesn't make one ambiamorous," she said. "While having labels that explain one's identity or preferences is wonderful, what's most important is that one's relationship style is healthy, loving, and emotionally supportive," she said.

Some Tesla Cybertruck owners noticed their new stainless steel vehicles have small rust specks. A few months after deliveries began, some members of a Cybertruck-owners forum started complaining about rust spots on the vehicle. After all, the Cybertruck is the first stainless steel vehicle to be produced since DMC made the stainless steel DeLorean and later halted production in 1982. The extra upkeep isn't entirely unexpected for experienced Tesla owners, many of whom have taken on the role of early adopters. If Tesla hits Musk's ambitious production targets for the Cybertruck, Tesla is likely to face less forgiving buyers, automotive analyst Ivan Drury told BI.

That's a higher allocation than Generation X and baby boomers, who had respective allocations of 37% and 31%. Millennials investing for the long term can afford to — and generally should — take more risk than older investors by allocating relatively heavily to stocks. That's because stocks typically outperform bonds over decades, said Jenkin, a member of CNBC's Advisor Council.
