Chesebro is the second lawyer affiliated with Trump’s 2020 campaign, and third co-defendant, to cut a deal with prosecutors, after Sidney Powell , a legal adviser who played a leading role in the effort to reverse Trump’s election loss, struck a similar deal Thursday.
Powell is also expected to cooperate with the prosecution.
