I knew I had to quitMy coworker's behavior was making me miserable. AdvertisementI also realized that in my personal life, I'm creative, a little messy, and wear my heart on my sleeve. I don't know what happened in my coworker's life to cause her intense dislike for me. While compassion is not a reason to tolerate bad behavior, I also learned to set clear boundaries for how people treat me. I learned all this by simply stepping back from my job, taking a break, and immersing myself in an entirely new field.

Everywhere that Russian troops were located, we’re seeing cases of sexual violence and gender-based violence. But the real scale of sexual violence committed during the war may never come to light. Ukrainian officials say that it is difficult, but not impossible, to track down individual perpetrators of sexual violence crimes. Some survivors of sexual violence committed by the Bosnian Serb army during the Bosnian war in the early 1990s are only now coming forward.

Architectural changesThere have been serious revisions to the architecture of Zhongnanhai since the end of imperial rule in 1912. Having re-established Zhongnanhai as a center of political power in the new China, Mao set about rebuilding the compound according to his tastes. “It was here,” noted Aldrich, “with the background trappings of a scholar, that he met Nixon and Kissinger in 1972.”Most subsequent leaders have preferred to keep a house outside the Zhongnanhai compound. However, the compound hasn’t always been so forbidden for the masses following the collapse of China’s imperial dynasty.

CNBC's Jim Cramer said inflation may be abating more quickly than some think, suggesting that comments from the Federal Reserve's most recent meeting three weeks ago may not hold much weight. The major averages declined as Wall Street fretted about the Fed minutes, which were released on Wednesday. Cramer admitted that during policymakers' last meeting, the economy was seeing "nascent commodity inflation."
