For Google, the focus turns to its ad tools, which are part of the company’s $200 billion digital ad business. In the first antitrust case, the court found that Google violated Section 2 of the Sherman Act, which outlaws monopolies. The company’s M&A strategy “set the stage for Google’s later exclusionary conduct across the ad tech industry,” the Justice Department alleges. Google has long fought back against claims that it dominates online ads, pointing to the market share of competitors including Meta. Plant Vogtle, a nuclear power plant in Waynesboro, Georgia, is the largest source of clean energy in the U.S. following the addition of two new reactors, according to Georgia Power. The plant's unit 4 reactor began commercial operations in April and unit 3 went online last year. But bringing a nuclear power plant to life is difficult and costly. The U.S. has 54 operating nuclear power plants and 94 reactors, making it the world's largest producer of nuclear power — accounting for 30% of global nuclear electricity, according to the World Nuclear Association. London CNN —PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) will start tracking where its employees in the United Kingdom work, in a bid to dial back its current work-from-home culture. Previous guidelines required them to be in for between two and three days each week, but the memo suggests that was not universally adhered to. “With that in mind, we will start sharing your individual working location data with you on a monthly basis from January as we do with other data such as chargeable hours. This will help to ensure that the new policy is being fairly and consistently applied across our business,” it added. Earlier this year, IBM told its US-based managers they had to work in the office at least three days a week or leave their positions.
