October 12 - PHILADELPHIA -- A historic power display has the Philadelphia Phillies on the brink of a return to the National League Championship Series. Trea Turner and Brandon Marsh also homered and Aaron Nola (2-0) struck out nine over 5 2/3 innings as the Phillies captured Game 3 for a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series. They beat the Braves in the NLDS in four games last year, going 2-0 against them in Philadelphia, en route to a World Series trip. Arcia had mocked him during the Braves' celebration after Game 2 ended, which got back to Harper in the Philadelphia clubhouse. An offensive juggernaut all year, the Braves have been held to seven runs and two home runs over three games.

The trial for the Cantlay/Harper case, which was set to begin on Nov. 13, will now be dismissed, GSK said, adding it had also settled three remaining breast cancer cases in California related to the same drug. The latest settlements in California were related to cases due to go to trial in November, with a further set scheduled to begin in Delaware courts in January, GSK said. The company still faces about 79,000 cases related to Zantac in the United States, with 73,000 of them in Delaware. The latest settlements in California related to cases due to go to trial in November, with a further set scheduled to begin in Delaware courts in January, GSK said. The company still faces about 79,000 cases related to Zantac in the United States, with 73,000 of them in Delaware. Late in June, the company agreed to settle a similar lawsuit with California resident James Goetz who alleged he developed bladder cancer after taking Zantac. The settlement could be read that GSK sees a risk that these Zantac cases are strong enough that the company might lose at trial, J.P Morgan added.

The final four innings of Game 2 were so calamitous for the Phillies that the series' momentum swung entirely to Atlanta. "As I've said many times, this is a tough team, resilient team," Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday. "I mean, he's as good as there is in the game," Braves manager Brian Snitker said of Riley.
