Generative AI wasn't part of the lexicon for most of us during President-elect Donald Trump 's first four years in the White House. At a high level, generative AI is a cutting-edge form of technology that will shape the next decade and beyond. While the AI field has been around for decades, generative AI applications can create new content, including computer code, human-like text and images, in response to user prompts. Those that lead in generative AI will very likely shape the world as we know it. With 5G, Trump didn't just hope the U.S. could just fun faster than everyone else.

Sarah Perl, who goes by the TikTok handle @hothighpriestess, says she has a successful career and relationship because she manifested both. Many of her recent posts focus on manifesting love, and they're particularly aimed at young women who want romantic relationships with men. She's not just saying that to the universe; she's feeding the TikTok algorithm, which likely sends her content to other young women. "I view manifesting almost like the For You page: Where you put your attention is where your life will end up going." For Gen Z, the divide between the divine and the digital can be razor thin.

Market moves: The stock market tacked on some additional gains after the Federal Reserve on Thursday afternoon cut interest rates by 25 basis points. Bond yields, which move inversely to bond prices, have been on the rise since the Fed cut rates in September. Stick to discipline: The stock market especially liked the idea of a pro-business environment and de-regulation expected in the future Trump administration. Trump’s win came about with the help of Musk and his wealthy tech friends including investors Peter Thiel and David Sacks. They boosted Trump with financial contributions, fundraising help and public endorsements on subjects such as the economy and deregulation. Few other major tech executives publicly endorsed in the presidential race, though some of them made vague comments praising one or the other candidate. Trump has a complicated history with many tech CEOs. In their social media posts, several tech CEOs used the word “decisive” to describe Trump’s victory and they employed popular buzzwords like “innovation” in an apparent attempt to identify common ground.

Shortly after the opening bell, we will be selling 150 shares of Morgan Stanley at roughly $128.81 and 240 shares of Wells Fargo at roughly $71.02. There's strength across the board in premarket trading, with Wells Fargo ripping 10% higher, Morgan Stanley up more than 8%, and fellow Club holding BlackRock jumping more than 4%. Wells Fargo is one of the biggest winners in the group because there are greater odds its Federal Reserve-imposed asset cap will be removed. Markets: The post-election rally on Wall Street continued into afternoon trading, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumping 3.4%, or roughly 1,450 points, and the S & P 500 advancing 2.4%. It's worth noting, the stock market was reacting like Jim Cramer said it would in his Sunday column . The one thing markets hate is uncertainty, and Wednesday's rally can be attributed, in part, to relief that Wall Street professionals and individual investors alike know where they stand and what to expect from the country's next president. Bond yields move inversely to prices, and a basis point is equal to 0.01%. "You have to be very careful to respect the bond market if you do any buying today," Jim said.

The news Trump's decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election comes with varying implications for Apple investors. Apple got exceptions in Trump's first term that muted the impact of tariffs on Apple. Bottom line Apple deftly navigated a first Trump term, but it's way too early to say with certainty what Trump's second term in office will mean for the California tech giant. As for tariffs, Apple has wisely expanded its manufacturing capabilities outside of China in markets like India, and it should continue to do so. In Trump's second term, "Apple is going to need what I call special pleading," Jim Cramer said during the Morning Meeting.

Operating EBITDA of $857 million in the quarter came in ahead of the $818 million consensus, according to FactSet. DuPont's performance on profitability metrics shined, with the better-than-expected operating EBITDA and earnings results for the quarter compounded by an increase to management's full-year outlook on both metrics. Quarterly results Another reason to look past the light water-and-protection sales: Operating margins at both of the core business units were ahead of expectations. For the electronics-and-industrial segment, management said operating EBITDA was helped, in part, by increased volume gains along with savings from productivity and restructuring actions.
