With midterms looming, Bernie Sanders has a message for the Democrats: Focus on the economy. In a new opinion piece, Sanders said Democrats should "expose the Republicans for the phonies that they are." He said it's time for Democrats to confront Republicans about them — "and expose their anti-worker views on the most important issues facing ordinary Americans." As Insider's Walt Hickey reported, Biden saw a huge upswing in polling in late August as those economic policies were announced. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema memorably voted down the $15 minimum wage, and has continually spiked tax hikes on the wealthy.

He said that if he is re-elected he will fight to expand Medicaid in Georgia. And I think the people of Georgia have a real choice about who they think is ready to represent them in the United States Senate," Warnock told reporters Thursday, without directly addressing the abortion story. Warnock's allies, meanwhile, see the question more as a battle between Walker and Georgia voters — why give his opponent a chance to bring him into the story? What’s “very important” to her is Democrats’ holding the Senate and fighting GOP "extremism."

REUTERS/Andrew Kelly/File PhotoSept 19 (Reuters) - Take-Two Interactive Software Inc (TTWO.O) on Monday confirmed that a hacker had leaked the early footage of Grand Theft Auto VI, the next installment of the best-selling videogame. The company, however, said it did not expect the incident to affect the game's development, helping its shares pare some of their losses from a 6% drop in premarket trading. We have already taken steps to isolate and contain this incident," Take-Two said in a statement. "The leaked footage simply confirms existing market rumors on the game's development that have been circulating for years," Benchmark analyst Mike Hickey said. "We are incrementally more confident the game can release in FY25 and provide a significant catalyst for revenue and profit growth."
Most Americans want to see age caps in Congress, according to an Insider/Morning Consult poll. Congressional term limits and medical examinations for elected leaders are among the measures garnering overwhelming support among poll respondents. Indeed, respondents were more supportive of age limits for people who steer legislation than they were for people who steer heavy machinery. More respondents want to see age caps in Congress — 75% — than maximum ages for police officers (73%) and truck drivers (64%). All told, 76% of respondents overall — and 66% of Democrats — said Biden is too old to serve in public office.
This has largely been the case going back to the early 1800s, when the median age of America was about 17 years old — and the median age of a member of Congress was 44. This chart shows how Congress and federal judges have gotten older over time, from the founding of our nation until today. Even the younger members of Congress were, on balance, getting older — driving up the average age of a member of Congress past 60. But today, as older members stay longer, the average has been just 4% since 2000. But for the past several years, the president has been significantly older than the average member of his Cabinet.
