Bank Millennium, majority owned by Portugal's Millennium bcp (BCP.LS), said it will not propose a dividend for 2023. Bank Millennium posted a third quarter net profit of 103 million zlotys ($24.40 million), reversing a 1 billion zloty loss a year earlier.

The research, published in July in the journal Nature, detailed how heat trapped under the surface is causing a phenomenon called "underground climate change" and could cause major cities including Chicago, New York and London to "sink." This underground climate change is different from the climate change in the atmosphere, which comes from greenhouse gasses caused by burning fossil fuels. As the heat spreads, the ground also deforms, which can cause city structures and infrastructure to crack. While researchers have worried about the potential of cities to sink due to heavy building loads, spreading heat like this can cause similar displacements.

Pacific islands leaders gathered Monday for the start of a two-day Washington summit. Jerusalem CNN —The United Nations World Heritage Committee voted Sunday to list the Tell es-Sultan archaeological site in Jericho as a “World Heritage Site in Palestine.”The decision was made at a conference held in Riyadh, UNESCO said on its official X account, formerly known as Twitter. The Palestinian Authority welcomed the decision, while Israel expressed ire. The newly designated site, located in Jericho in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, contains ruins dating back to the ninth millennium BCE. “The outstanding universal value of the site qualifies it to be one of the World Heritage sites,” Ma’ayah said. In 2010, Jericho celebrated being the oldest walled city in the world, dating back to the modern Stone Age.

The Daily Beast found more than 40 accounts used by Barstool Sports to repost copyrighted material. The accounts ripped and posted copyrighted clips embedded and reposted by Barstool, per The Daily Beast. Using the site's password reset system, The Daily Beast discovered the accounts were associated with email addresses under the barstoolsports.com domain. However, Barstool accounts could still repost from the shadow accounts without fear of being impacted by the takedown notices. "Their business is built on stealing other people's IP," The Daily Beast reported Rubin said of Barstool.
